Bowling Day: May 16th
We all had a great time. There were 22 participants: 3 adults and 9 teenagers. Everyone had a great time and the top bowler was Tim Carle.
May Dinner Meeting: May 22nd
The May dinner meeting was held at Ryan’s Restaurant in Summerville, there were 17 people in attendance (if you count the three people who just happened to sit in our room and listen!). There were actually 14 members of the Summerville Jewish Community including 4 children. Dr. David Abramowitz presented a fascinating lecture about Judaism and Modern Life. The lecture focused on recent Jewish history, the various movements in Judaism and the post-Holocaust theology. It was a great evening.
