A special screening of the acclaimed documentary CARVALHO’S JOURNEY 

Followed by a discussion and reception featuring Producer/Director/Writer STEVE RIVO 

A real-life nineteenth-century American western adventure, CARVALHO’S JOURNEY tells the extraordinary story of Solomon Nunes Carvalho (1815- 1897). An observant Sephardic Jew born in Charleston, South Carolina, Carvalho became renowned as a photographer, inventor, artist, and pioneer.
