The Summerville/North Area Jewish Community’sSummerville #commUNITY Artists Heritage Series was held on Monday, Feb 27th at 6:30pm at Coastal Coffee Roasters. SHARED DREAMS: Jews and African Americans and Civil Rights is A FREE program spotlighting talented youth and adult performers from the Summerville area. Over 50 people were in attendance.

February 25th Program at Allston Bailey Elementary School

The Summerville Dorchester Museum and the Summerville area ministerial Association had displays at the black history program at Alston Bailey elementary school sponsored by the Summerville community resource center.

Robyn Wittenberg Dudley, a volunteer with the Summerville Dorchester museum and a member of the Summerville North Area Jewish Ccommunity, addressed the group discussing the topic of Jewish involvement in the civil rights movement. Reverend John Scott from St Paul’s church represented the Summerville Ministerial Association.
